4/5. Great story! Really enjoyed the character growth and interactions with non-combatant NPCs in this book. It made the universe feel more alive and that Carl and Donut were making meaningful impacts in the universe. The level design was complicated and I found myself tuning out several of the major plot point discussions explaining the level which is why I deducted a point.
