I love a good apocalypse tale. This has good plot building, good character building. The premise of AI becoming self aware is not new, but it’s used here in a new way.
Not the fake AI we see now, (chatgpt and it’s theiving, meme generating ilk) but actual AI seeking to blend with humanity, to rule it.
Plenty of action and violence as would be expected in an apocalypse. A well written scifi apoc overall.
The narrator sounded better suited for an old country Western than this book, but whatever, he still did a good job.
*The series would have been better without the tired far-right, Fox News propagated tropes…

(Elon Musk is not a scientist, engineer or inventor. He does not “figure out” science stuff. He is a venture capitalist, proud Nazi and a drug addict. That is all he is.)
(Foreigners are not “scary” or “suspect.” Violence glorifying, gun toting Americans are, and that’s ok.)
