overall story: more plot than normal in stories like these, but overall nothing super original plot wise. i dislike the “female is always right.” storyline that this story is hinging on, and i dislike how the male lead acted in the beginning of the story… it feels out of place for the character i love after. decent read, not a favorite but if you like stories like these, it’s what you’ll expect and sometimes thats what you want.
narrators: the female narrator is good, but the male narrator imo isn’t playing the correct character, he’s very calm and not a lot of inflection. good narrator, wrong story for a “temperamental” alpha
