Great first book to start with. There is lots of inter monologue of an old man, but as you delve into the story he’s not so old compared to some old powerhouses that are around in the tower, he might be considered even young compared to them.
There are a couple of things I am confused with the author tells the story about awakeners not being able to go back below a level of the floor they are surpassed. But in later scenes, you run into power house people that are loitering around in the lower floors or origin floor. I would like that explained more.
