Good start to a series

Really ended up enjoying this book. It has zombies and a side of romance what’s not to like. Action, suspense, zombies, a little humor and romance all woven into an entertaining and enjoyable story. Will I listen to the book again, yes.

The synopsis tells you the gist of the story to say more would be giving to much away. Great cast of characters. Both the good and bad guys. Even when the world is crashing down around you and every second is a fight for survival you can still find love.

Looking forward to the next installment of the series.

Maxwell Zener did a good job with the narration. Nice voice. Good delivery and tone. Clearly spoken with a nice even pace. Some really good character voices at the same time his female character voices need some work. There were times when I wasn’t sure which character was speaking. This was really confusing at times because you didn’t know which character was speaking. Overall though very enjoyable.
I do have to say though I’m surprised they didn’t use a female narrator or dual narration.
