3.5 stars which for me is totally fine for a longer series to start with as long as book 2 and onward are setup properly for the good stuff🤣. There’s character and plot building that tends to get a little on the slower side but for book one I’m use to it. By mid way through this book I was hooked and couldn’t wait to start connecting dots and plots. Can’t wait to see what this series has in store and how the characters grow!
There are lots of trigger warnings ⚠️ so be sure to read those if you can’t handle mentions of them.
Also I’ll add that I listened to this on audible which had a single narration. She was good but might have been higher rating if it was dual or read physical copy.
