This book is very different from Slow Burn. Unlike Slow Burn this series was not nonstop action one firefight, near-death experience, or heroic moment after another but still entertaining. My only issue is with a gap in the story unless I missed something. They never clearly explain how Murphy’s sister died. That said, I still enjoyed the book, and it seems like they intentionally left things a bit open-ended for a possible third installment.
