Leslie North is a great author, whom I’ve read several of her books. I love the suspense, romance and emotions she puts into her books. I listened to the first book in this series and found this one to be a great continuation. It could be listened to as a standalone, but it was nice for me to be familiar with the Maxfield brothers and their company. Connor Brown did a fantastic performance with this book.
