I really enjoyed this book. I seem to be drawn to prepper stories that wind up putting people into unimaginable situations. This book did that very well. I really enjoyed the character development and backstory for the main protagonist. His skill set used throughout the story was driven by his past and it was good to see how that came to be.
Most all of this story was completely plausible in my opinion. I guess the main issue I have is the severity and speed of the weather change. I’m not sure that’s quite as plausible, but it makes the unpreparedness of the characters that much more intense.
The narration was excellent all the way around. This is the second Kevin Pierce narration I’ve listened to and it was done just as well as the first.
