Now I might be bias as I hate one if the MCs, the bard. He feels so fake, a useless flop just trying to manipulate people with his words. The fact it works is worse.
The legion parts are great, the world I’d great and the goal seems like a good read.
However in the last climax arc the author decides to start switch back and forth to different people on each chapter at two unrelated plot lines. So every time you get invested and something big happens it just stops and switches. It ruins immersion and makes the last 3rd a huge slog. Ruined the end for me. Really poor choice in writing style I felt.
That said, I’ll still buy the next one and look forward to it.
