These books sometimes fall into common tropes, but I really enjoy the science fiction touches. I hope it continues to grow. It is a light read and not a modern master, but a fun one and the author does his story justice.
The characters are akin to sci-fi tradition and the reader mostly sees the world through they’re eyes. There isn’t much in the way of development so far, but the reader gradually learns more about them as they go.
