All in all this was a good listen, the first book the performance was fine not good not bad, as the second and third books went on the performance was better, maybe not up to the standard that I prefer but certainly not bad. The story itself definitely felt like a sort of Ready Player One/Sword Art Online style with more originality coming out as it progressed into the later books. It also felt a bit generic of a story but certainly not bad by any means. If you are someone who enjoys the stories this feels referenced to this may be a good read for you. My only real criticism and a minor one at that, was with the narration, as especially early on it felt very much like someone reading a story rather than someone performing the character and I personally prefer when the narration is more of a performance than a traditional read.
