Kevin Pearce is great narrating but he has done so many of these EMP stories that it makes them feel all the same. I found Maddie beyond annoying. She is the main character, 18 years old. The first book or so was great, but when she gets to their safe place, this 18 year old starts telling all these experienced Navy Seals types what to do and they just defer to her. Quite unbelievable. She is also extremely impulsive and gets several people killed. I had to drop this series because I was too annoyed with it to finish.
