I am lucky enough to listen to about a book a day while I work in my studio. This book was free with my Audible account so I took a chance. I couldn’t finish it though. The male narrator’s version of the female lead was massively irritating. I even tried to speed it up but just couldn’t stand it. I also couldn’t get past the way the female lead’s family treated her and how she allowed it. I gave up about half way through. It may have gotten better after that- hoping so, but didn’t want to waste any more time.
