I tried to like this – I picked up the first three books as a package deal on sale cheap. And I knew that the rest of the books were also available supercheap during that same sale. So I really wanted to like it because it was many hours of listening for a reasonable prize. I hung in there till the third book and I made it about halfway through and just had to give up.
I don’t usually bother to leave negative reviews, when I don’t like something, but, this could’ve been good, this could’ve been funny, but instead, it reminds me of late night, action TV written by a single underpaid, overworked staff writer who can’t think of more than one plot line and just reuses it over and over.
