- Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
- It was a fast-paced book. It focused more on the relationship among all characters than the world building. I wish it would have taken more time explaining what exactly it was that Melina’s family did that made her doubt his initial interest in her. Although I suppose given the length of the story it provided a practical reason of the hesitancy. All in all the plot was well written so I’d definitely recommend it to anyone that enjoys PNR.
- Would you be willing to try another book from Katie Reus? Why or why not?
- I would try anything by Katie Reus. I like her writing style too much to pass up any of her books.
- Which character – as performed by Jeffrey Kafer – was your favorite?
- I have to say I loved that he didn’t increase his voice one octave higher to sound like a silly girl when giving voice to Melina, so Kudos for that.
- Do you think Enemy Mine needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
- I think the story in itself was too short but then again it was a novella so I don’t have much too complain about. However it still felt as if a HEA wasn’t reached and a follow up wouldn’t be a such a bad a idea.
- Any additional comments?
- Melina and Kiernan had great chemistry and the animosity between their families made a lot of sense once it was explained. I only wish the story would have been longer because I felt there wasn’t enough told for a new reader to thoroughly enjoy this story and perhaps be hooked in the series as much as I am.
