I went and read some reviews before getting this book. Read people saying it’s too long and drawn out or too graphic and has extreme unnecessary violence… Id argue this is what I loved most about this book. The parts about fighting isn’t just he shot him then that guy shot them the author really brings you into the fight with all the details and draws a real picture of human nature when pushed too far. I hardly ever review but I really love these books, I listen to audiobooks at least a couple hours everyday and this is the genre that I can never get enough of. I loved this series immensely! They changed up invaders keeping it fresh and unpredictable. Well thought out and complex characters that draw you in and make you root for them. I can’t recommend this series enough if these kind of stories are your jam. If you’re into the overly Christian pg13 kind of series it’s probably not for you. This is a story about good god fearing patriots that get pushed too far and gather like minded people and do something about it, and all the magnificent gory details it took to get there.
