Not immature like there are one too many fart jokes but immature as in there is no subtlety. The emotions and actions of characters feel exaggerated, over the top, and cheesy. At first I thought it was endearing because it reminded me of a few DnD campaigns I’ve been in but by the end I was annoyed and mostly bored. It feels like a book written in the way a children’s book might be where you do more telling than showing because your reader is still learning to critically think.
