You can’t imagine a gentleman like this author ever knowing an earthly thing about the underbelly of life that this novel depicts, but his writing resounds with the tone of real people imbedding a real place in time. The story breathes you in and holds its breath as the tension mounts.

The language is both stark and deliciously detailed.

A good novelist needs three things, experience, observation, and imagination–any two of which, at times any one of which–can supply the lack of the other Greyson seems to have all three in spades. He has applied them and built, simply put a masterpiece..

A fabulous book, for sure, and well worth the price anyone pays for it!!
