The narrators speaking speed is torturous (I speed up the reading to 1.20 so I don’t just give up.) The narrators tone makes the MC seem very immature or perhaps like a very “dweebish” goody two-shoes trying to sound “hip” or “cool” when swearing but it utterly falls flat and embarrassing.
The amount of repetition and unnecessary details become boring and causes one to loose interest and tune out. I keep finding myself thinking, “get to the point already.”
