This book starts off great. Good emotional response to the characters. Game exploration is cool. It felt very fast paced towards the end and I felt there was not enough explanation of the chaotic evil vs. morality arguments (though this comes out more in book 2 so nothing against it). No disrespect to David Stifel, but I do not care for this naration at all. It’s flat and unenthusiastic. I can already tell, if I don’t finish this series it will be due to the narration.
