The writing style was enhanced by listening to the story using audible. It was enjoyable, but there were many things that were extremely farfetched. I didn’t care for the main character, Sybil. I found it to be so unbelievable that she was loved by 2 men, especially at such a late time in her life. The writer failed to show Sybil in a positive light. She seemed self-centered. She was nice to strangers but treated her own family, including her loving ex-husband with disdain.
The writing style was interesting, the story told completely through letters. The other characters kept me going, although the beginning was very slow and I thought about dropping itmeore than once.
