I’ve made it up to book three thus far. The story is pretty good, if I were to say this feels more like a beginner series for those looking to get into the LITRPG genera. I’d like to rate the story so far higher but I just can’t bring myself to do it.

The story uses “Magicites” as its measurement for magic which is cool n all but that can easily be explained once as the worlds over all scientific term, it’s continuously used as if it were a ground breaking term even though we all know they should just be using standard terminology and call it what it is…. Mana… again not horrible but idk why just every time I hear Magicites my skin crawls just a little.

Also the MCs relation with women in the series also feels too streamlined or two easy? Idk the females all seem a bit flat aside from Lilly. I understand that in this world it’s a normal thing to not develop attachment especially in a simulated environment. But again the encounters with the female leads just feels a bit flat.

Over all it does have potential but there really is a lot of over explaining and also revisiting the main objective way to much. Like I get skills take good but I don’t really need to hear 1 minute of commentary mid fight.
