It’s ok but not “great”

The characters are well developed, the world is fine. I will buy the next one, but the overall feeling is “ok, but not great”.
I’m hoping we get more developments in the next book.
Compared to Black Ocean (most of them): this is different but not as funny.
Compared to project transhuman (Eve 14) this is way below.
Compared with Twinborn Chronicles, this is also way below.

Put it this way: I seldom re-read any books. But I know I will reread the others from JS Morin. This one: unlikely unless the next book picks up and becomes great.
