I thought that the story was a little slow and the mystery didn’t hold my interest. The narration was good; I’m not sure I would have finished in print form. I do like the character of Mrs. Plansky and there was enough for a 3 star rating, so I’m not ready to give up on the series. As other reviewers have noted, some of the inner musings of Mrs. Plansky is similar to this author’s Chet the Dog series, but it works better with Chet than Mrs. Plansky; there was even a “therefore” in this book, which is Chet’s signature thought.
