As someone who has corresponded since I was young, and still do in my 60’s, this resonated with me. We should all write more. It’s a way to share your soul in some ways verbally words cannot. This book, written letters read by the characters, allows you to truly get to know them. Get to know their happiness, their sadness, and all life’s joys that touched their lives. I was sad the book ended as I would have loved to know how the rest of their lives unfolded. If you like to know the characters of a story deeply, then please read this book. It is wonderful.
