An exceptionally detailed account of the Dirlewanger Brigade. The detailed account of how the unit was initially stood up and organized was excellent. However during the final battles the level of detail presented on order of battle and task organization changes at the division and corps echelons felt excessive. But overall, an excellent book for those interested in hard history and military force management.
