Finished the full Toxic Tides series in two days and now I’m sad it’s over.
I usually read EMP-style dystopian/post-apocalyptic books, but I really liked this concept. Contaminated water everywhere, not just drinking water, made survival feel more limited and added a different kind of tension.
Same core group throughout. Scientists, a wilderness survival guy, and the two cult kids. The dynamic works and keeps it easy to stay invested.
Nothing overly complicated, just solid, steady survival with a consistent threat and enough movement to keep it engaging.
I flew through this and would absolutely keep reading if they continue the series.
