Get this, and you’ll never have to read another zombie story.
I think Adair hits all the marks here (although the Firefly movie Serenity fills in a few holes}.
He does it very well, but honestly, I don’t think I need another zombie story ever again.
I’m much more interested in the rebooting civilization details, which Adair handles adequately, but his focus is the undead.
Phil Thron does a workmanlike job reading, clear and without excessive emoting–but this story is first person, and Thron is perhaps not the best match for a Texas college kid.
