The overall concept of the book is good. I don’t mind the darkness of it. That’s the point. But sheesh you do not need to constantly remind me that she is 19 and he is a grown man. I think the book would have still been good, albeit better, if she was older. There’s a lot of other dark elements outside of the grooming. Also, I did not enjoy the performance. The woman narrator’s MMC voice sounds cringe af. And the man narrator makes him sould like a 56 year old man, yet he’s in his thirties. The MMC gives off different vibes depending on the narrator.
