Jeff Hays does a spectacular job narrating!!
This story went downhill for me when it brought in r*pe & then consenting to it along with physical abuse. The story didn’t need any of that to move forward!
If you take all of that garbage out, it was a decent book #2. Unfortunately, there’s a LOT of that trash sprinkled throughout.
Boxxy learns what it means to earn friendship. That’s what this story should have stood on.
The ending redeemed the story overall & I’ve already purchased the entire series.
So, I reluctantly continue with hopes that the author leaves out that unnecessary trash…
