Narrator did a great job, just like with books 1 and 2.

With the events at the end of book 2, Ness sees no other choice than to volunteer to be Liam’s Second. Convinced of foul play on Cassandra’s part, she has to find proof of her cheating. And that takes time.
After negotiating the terms of the duel, which they luckily could postpone, at a cost of course, the search is on.

Meanwhile Ness is struggling to get her private (love) life on track. There is no love triangle as far as Ness is concerned but the boys aren’t as sure as she is. Well, they aren’t assured enough of it despite all Ness’s consistent answers to both boys where they stand). Which add drama without it getting annoying so loved how Olivia wrote that down, not that I want a lot of drama but a great story is like a recipe and that does include some drama to balance it out, the suspence and action vs. those personal interactions that give extra depth to the characters.

I loved this story and I am glad that it continues. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for Liam in book 4
