I really enjoyed this one and will definitely look for more from this author in the future. As of this writing, this is her only audiobook. I hope that changes.

The set-up for the book is cute–male crime fiction writer writes smutty romance to pay the rent and becomes a sensation. I liked both the hero and the heroine- nice people, not too much drama/trauma. I could’ve done without the previous connection from seven (?) years prior that only one of the players remembered. By the end of the book I understood why the author did it, but still an ick factor.

Very good narration. As much as I appreciate stories being told from the male point of view to be read by actual males, sometimes their female voices are too …breathy? meek? Maybe a little of that here, but not enough to make me crazy.

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review via audiobookboom.
