I was an early fan of Dungeon Crawler Carl and have gotten a lot of people to become fans. Battlefield surgeon was wild but also solid. This one, I never fell in love with any characters, I disliked a few of them, but just on a surface level. The premise was ok, but really it just never clicked for me. Left the book with a slight feeling I wish I hadn’t read it, wasn’t worth my time or money. That all said, still love the author and can’t wait for his next book. This one however would have been a skip for me.
