My friend told me this book was wonderful. I had seen it many places. For some reason, maybe it was the cover, I never had much of a desire to read it. Maybe it was because EVERYONE was talking about it. Anyway, I have never been so glad to be so wrong. I finished in like 2 days. It was one of the most touching books I’ve listened to. The actors were fantastic, the story, everything about it. I loved that there were chapters that were 2 minutes long and ones that were much longer. I loved that from the way Maggi-Meg Reed read the opening of the letter (recipient, address, date) I could tell if she was mad or happy. This book encouraged me to write my own daughter about something in my past. That’s how much it touched me.
