I don’t want to be a jerk here or anything.Its a pretty good story overall and highlights some of the better aspects of human nature pretty well I’d say. But I don’t think the author really appreciates how dark some people would get and how quickly. Also for the character of Bear. I don’t think she has a very good understanding of what it’s like to be a man. Maybe she’s even writing the man she thinks she would want I could not say for sure but. I feel quite certian if a woman was separated from her husband for over 2 years. No way he’s gonna just be around her for days or weeks and treat her like that. She would definitely feel like something was wrong with one or both of them and shed be right too lol. That would come off super weak and timid and most probably nearly all women would not have respect for that. Men are wired different than women. A healthy masculine man thinks of sex a lot more often than the average woman. After 2 years no way he’s being that timid. And if he was it would be received like what the fuck is wrong with me?Anyway otherwise I enjoyed the book and wish the author the best.
