The gratuitous foul language, a little too much instructional dialogue that felt forced, and a couple of unbelievable moments that jarred me out of the story kept this from being a five star book for me, but it is definitely one of the best two series on the topic I’ve read so far. I liked the approach that a terrorist attack crippled the nation rather than the usual EMP attack that destroyed everything electronic on the continent. I find those books interesting but a financial collapse or terror attack like this one is much more believable to me. I plan to listen to the next installment as soon as possible.
