This book was a delightful surprise. It was hard to get into because it’s so different, written as a series of letters between a fictional woman I grew to love and the many people in her life – children, ex-husband, suitors, authors, and a newly found relative. It was such a beautiful journey, and I loved it so much that I’m listening again immediately. In fact, with about an hour left to finish the audiobook, I paused because I didn’t want it to end! This book makes a great audiobook, as the varied narrators differentiate the many characters. The characters came to life and made the story seem real and even more beautiful. Loved it so, so much!
