This book AND the narration really surprised me. I didn’t know what I was expecting but not this thoroughly engaging, witty and emotionally captivating story. Ace Bentley and Charlie L Woods really nailed these characters.
The first couple of pages made me want to smack Villain but necessity turned him back to Vincent and he was truly a rock on that island. The character development for him was peak. Ari grew some but together, the team work made the story sooo good.
The ending was what I expected but the predictable return didn’t diminish the impact of their life story to me. What a great listen.
