Overall a good book. I reccomend it.

First off this book has good narrators. They may not be all stars but are still good.

The story it’s self seems a lot more reasonable than many post apocalypse books and early on you know humanity will be fine, the only question is how many will survive.

The characters are unique and realistic. Dialogue isn’t a bunch of he said she said and works well with audio.

It’s a story that I truly do want to know what happens next through out the entire book. There are some rough spots but if this is the authors first book it’s better than most.

The prepper part of the summary had me a bit worried but I was mistaken. There are parts where the book teaches you about being prepared but it’s not beating you over the head with it and it’s kept intresting and not that common.

While I am no expert in solar flares the science checks out and it’s explained to a layman level. The only difference is it should take a CME more than 18 hours to reach earth, but that’s part of the story.
