Where do I even begin? I was so enthralled by this series from the very beginning. Jeff and Annie do an amazing job and seeing who the main narrator was initially drew me to the book, but I stuck around for the story. It was just… enjoyable to listen to. The book doesn’t take itself too seriously and there’s lots of humorous moments throughout, mixed in with just the right amount of danger, action, and unexpectedly emotional moments (why did I get teary-eyed over a colony of ants?!).
You owe it to yourself to at least give this series a proper shot. Getting the first three books for one credit is an amazing deal, and now I must buck up and get the rest. FOR THE COLONY!
