Any additional comments?
This is my third Tom Abrahams book and it doesn’t disappoint. At first glance you could be forgiven for assuming this is simply another stereotyped post-apocalypse story, but Abrahams has an interesting twist.
Whilst those in the midst of a society disintegrating in the face of a solar storm that renders the global infrastructure useless, astronaut Clayton Shepherd has his own problems. Stranded upon the International Space Station, Shepherd is alone, afraid and desperate to find a way back to his family.
This story is well written, has realistic characters and a believable storyline. To top it off Kevin Pierce does another great job of narration.
If I had a negative, it was that the story ended too soon for me and I was left wanting a more definite close before the next book in the series starts.
