This was my first Steve Vincent novel and I was again pleasantly surprised to “discover” a talented author I’d never heard of before. I liked how the story was put together and there were interesting enough characters to care about and who made it worth investing my time in. It’s actually a bit frightening to think of the power that certain groups hold in the world to shape events in the manner they were shaped in this book, but in many ways it felt like a timely listen. Kafer once again delivered a typically solid performance. Solid book all the way around. Recommended – especially to fans of this genre (investigative reporting/political suspense, etc).
