This books starts off very raw from the very start and never looks back. I was hooked from the opening and listened to it in almost one sitting. I love that the book goes back and forth in time to give the reader/listener the back story while not revealing everything at once. This is my first book by this author and it will not be my last.
I liked that the author didn’t just write the 2 main characters she also used the subcharacters in the book too so we got a little insight into them too. It brought even more depth into the story.
I highly recommend this book to anyone, it isn’t too raw but it does touch on some darker subjects such as violence, murder, rape, etc so it isn’t for everyone but it’s not as dark as other books. It’s a great book and I would listen to it again.
