This novel was such an unexpected joy to listen to. The story told through letters was so incredible. I felt so connected to these characters, the progression of aging, the sorrows of regrets, the bravery… the raw human connection via hand written letters was so heartfelt. In an age of social media, texting, emailing (not so much anymore), and constantly having the internet in your pocket: it was lovely to be reminded how honest, beautiful, and necessary writing letters really is. I cried multiple times throughout the story. Every character was diverse and had depth. An absolute classic in my collection now.
