Good story, really good actually. Like most good stories, it started to fall off near the end.
Writing wise it was really good but not great. There were some inconsistencies in the characters…for example, the Banks clan and most others portrayed themselves as Christians to the point that they at least tried to not curse, but they were also proud to sleep around. But now that I consider it, I suppose that is fairly real as many of us battle our demons (though they embraced it, didnt fight it)
My biggest complaint? That stupid cat. He drones waaaaaay too long on that stupid, unrealistic cat. By the end I was hoping Catrick would catch a stray round. I docked the book a star just for one small, unimportant character that got way too much attention.
