This series is one of two YA series that I cannot seem to quit (I typically don’t read YA), and the way this story started just proves why. It drew me right in, had me wondering what secrets and twists and turns were coming. I felt the mystery was a different level than previous ones (although I did skip last two because just not my cup of tea- with that although that means I missed Rush’s introduction to the team, I wasn’t lost). A dark cloud surrounded Rush from his demons and you couldn’t help but feel so bad for him. Rush and Landry are hot from the beginning, no slow burn there just total insta…and total loyalty to each other. He rocked the alpha protector and sweet side. I loved how the team backed him, even if he made it difficult for them. With lots of danger, suspense, and even humor, this audio kept me captivated from the beginning. And the narration was great.
