The high school quarterback and the shy book nerd dated while in high school until a bet ruined their relationship. Now as an adult, Tessa is still holding a grudge; but Riggs never stopped loving her. Riggs is traded to a new expansion football team near his hometown and while looking for a new home, decides to buy the house next to his high school sweetheart. Once Tessa realizes who her new neighbor is, let the pranks begin. Deciding to confront Riggs about the bet and once he explains the reasoning behind it, Tessa jumps into his arms not wanting to waste anymore time and denying them what they both want.
