it was a slow but steady decent story until the author continually spent hours on developing the character of a cat that can speak, be a seeing eye dog, have full conversations with his master, and the master completely understands everything the cat says. IDK very reviews but this cat thing being inserted into an already slow story was maddening. I stopped reading midway through the third book. Just ridiculous.
