This entire book is a vibe and I had an excellent day, thanks to keeping this in my ear while I cooked, baked, worked out, worked, cleaned, and more. Imagine a book that can make all that stuff bearable—well, you don’t have to, just listen to this (or whatever you like). I’m noticing this always happens when I read this author—epic.

I was sucked in right away, due to a relatable, likable FMC. She’s very open, honest and self-aware for a 17/18 year-old (I’m estimating she’s around there as she’s just out of high school at the start of this. Her wisdom fits as well, since she clearly was forced to grow up quickly.

I doubt I’ll manage to get everything down, but I’ll attempt to list the various tropes and my personal favorite aspects that are found in this book—in case you’re wondering or have triggers …

📚 MMF / eventual reverse harem.

🔥 Twins.

📚 Villainous professor I loved to hate.

🔥 Rags-to-riches.

📚 FMC is a total book nerd. (Her favorite genre being NA fantasy romance.)

🔥 Murder-mystery.

📚 Stalking.

🔥 Attempted non-con.

📚 Physical assault.

🔥 Group steamy scenes.

📚 Lots of secrets / dark pasts.

🔥 PUPPIES!!!! 🐾

📚 Stuffy rick-folks dinners / awkward family moments.

🔥 College setting.

📚 Girl squad / strong female bestie.

🔥 A golden retriever hero.

📚 Alphaholes.

🔥 Frenemies / enemies-to-lovers.

📚 Attempted forced marriage.

🔥 Wicked cliffhanger.

Overall:
